Claire Sauvaget is a french artist since 2008: video and sound installation, sculpture and music.
Her multi-faceted works (sculptural installation, sound creation, photography, performance) fuse new technologies and academic techniques with plants and natural materials. Her fascinating artpiece explore the relationship that human has with his natural and urban environment.
She wonders :“How do the urban rhythm and architecture influence our thoughts, our mental representations and our behavior during time commuting ? How can we transform our obligatory commuting into art ? What are the links between human beings, their habitat, their environment, and nature?. Her last artpiece (where are our roots ? or Urban Forest show how deeply are her philosophic questionning.
